Dan's Story
Who am I really? What a question some time I wonder. After graduation I served time in the Navy and was stationed in Adak Alaska. Those of you who complain about the cold be grateful.After military life I returned to shelbyville for a short time before moving to Charlotte, Nc. For the past 30 years I have been in the manufacturing world and currently have plants in Memphis, Bauxite, Arkansas and a new one soon to be completed in Arkadelphia, Ar. who is 6 going on 16). I play allot of golf and compete in several ASGA tournaments. I am a scratch handicap. I do plan on playing in the senior open qualifier later this year. I do visit Shelbyville a couple times a year but there is really not many folks left that I went to school with. I am pretty much a free spirt kind of person. I love to travel and play golf around the country. I do not know how many more years I will continue to work but as long as I am healthy and enjoy what I do I will probably work until they make me go away.
