Dan's Story

I guess I should update you folks on the information you have on me (my profile,etc.). First off, my San Diego High School Year Book is 1961, not, 1959. The information you have on me being in Augsburg, Germany was the place and time when I was in the US Army, back in 1962 - 64. I'm currently retired and living in my home city of San Diego. Over the years I have enjoyed traveling around the US, Canada, and Costa Rica. I consider my education starting once I started traveling (don't recall anything I learned in High School), lol). As for my interest in music ( i enjoy most), and, I play the didgeridoo (oldest wind instrument in the world). As for sports? In the past I have made, tossed, and, compete...Expand for more
d in the art of throwing boomerangs. Yes, it's true - Boomerangs bring many happy returns! As they say -"throw sticks not stones"! Currently, I'm married, have three grown children, and, three young grandchildren. I have my share of aches and and pains that comes with growing old (it's for the birds!). I try to stay in shape, keeping my weight down by volunteering with Caltrans, removing litter along our littered lined Interstate. I too enjoy a "clean San Diego", but, in my case, it extends to having a clean San Diego East County, as well as a clean San Diego proper. In short - "cleaning up San Diego East County, one littered bit at a time". Dan PS - Correction, we have two not three adult children.
