Dan's Story
I attended both Fountain Valley Elementary and Fountain Valley High Schools. During the fall of my senior year, we moved temporarily to Los Angeles, where I graduated at Westchester High. I graduated with a 3.74 average and was accepted at UCLA, later transferring to UCI.
Thanks to the economic downturn in 2008, my retirement plans were delayed. Thanks to Ben Bernanke, my plans improved.
I've never been to a reunion but have become curious of late. I could not attend the 40th reunion and I see few people seem to have attended.
I have been in Laguna Niguel for 20+ years now, but I still make the occasional trek to the Huntington Beach pier)

I have been very fortunate during the pandemic. I lost my father before the pandemic, otherwise I would have been a nervous wreck. I have been working and investing non-stop. I always planned my retirement as though Social Security didn't exist. I expect to retire well and soon. Pfizer rules! jk

5/23/2023 I couldn't help but think that in 1969 we studied about: 1) Pollution; 2) Over-population & 3) War. WOW, so much has changed in the past 50 years!!! (Sarcasm)
8/10/2023 I'm not sure why my posts on the "Fountain Valley High School Class of 1973 Reunion" Facebook page are being declined. I simply asked for a posting of those who have passed away from our class of 1973. (They made a memorial board at the reunion). Separately, I mentioned the campus tour with Principal Paul Lopez on August 5th, 2023. So, shoot me!
