Dan Stone:  

Having spent only part of my high school days at North due to my family moving a couple of times (Nov-June of our sophomore year, and from Jan of our junior year until we graduated), I only got to know a couple of classmates well. (Herbert) Mark Moore because we grew up together and Mary Roth because she was my brothers first wife. However, North is very special to me, and I have many found memories of my time there. After graduation I enlisted in Navy. The plan was to do one enlistment and use the GI bill to pay for college. Fifteen surprisingly wonderful years in the Navy later, I finally got around to using that GI bill. During my 15 years in the Navy I was stationed in Norfolk, Va., St. Paul, Mn., and San Diego, Ca. I traveled all over the world and have set foot on every continent except for Antarctica. I have traveled to many countries in Northern Europe, Western Europe, Southern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the Far East, Southeast Asia, and Australia.
