Dan's Story

After a 20 year career as an Army Counterintelligence officer, I have spent 21 years working for Fortune 50 companies in corporate security, IT security and privacy roles. I am currently the Global Information Security Governance Leader for Mars, Inc. Which by the way, sells far more pet food than chocolate. I have lived in Cary, IL, since 2006. I retired to Columbia, SC in 2015. All my kids and GK's live within a couple of hours of our house. We get to see them often. Just glad they want to see us. I am married to Linda for 44 years. n grandkids so far. . I have been very fortunate and appreciate the blessings I have received. I continue to serve as the president of the society for policing cyberspace. It is an international group trying to bring corporations, academics, law enforcement, national judicial groups and international groups together to better understand and deal with the global cyber-crime problem. My mother passed away in April 2014 after a severe illness at the age of 87, She had 4 boys who gave her 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. My warm regards to former classmates.
