Dan's Story
After Graduation I was able to go into what I thought was my life's ambition as a professional musician and toured with my band, "Quicksilver." During that time (April 9, 1977) I married the love of my life, Carol Bullard (EHS 1975). Our first child, Jessica was born in October 0f 1978. In March of 1980 we both met with a radical change in our lives and accepted Christ as our Savior. Our second child, Jason, was born in November of 1980. In 1981 I went into full-time ministry and began my college experience at Lee University in Cleveland, TN (Charlotte, NC campus). I spent the next three years as a full-time student, itenerant exangelist, husband, and father. In November 1984 the Lord saw fit to bless us with twins, Brian and Alicia. In September of 1985 we accepted our first Pastorate in Columbia, SC. We have pastored churches in Columbia, Jefferson, Beauf...Expand for more
ort, Easley, and Westminster (all in SC). I left full-time ministry in 2002 due to some health issues and reluctantly took a job as a plant manager with a local manufacturing company. I was able to continue some ministry activity when I joined and began traveling part-time with a Southern Gospel quartet. Everything came to a halt in February 2006 when I was injured in an industrial accident. I am now "retired" for a lack of a better way to put it.
Our oldest son and youngest daughter are married. No grandchildren yet, but we are still hoping! We are enjoying life together in our home in Seneca with our two dogs Chester, an English Toy Spaniel, and Sophie, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We also have two cats, Roscoe, an orange tabby, and George Louis Bushytail, a Ragdoll.
I'd love to hear from some of my old friends and possible make some new ones as well!
