Dan's Story
I'm now a software engineer splitting time between Irvine, CA and Bonita. I telecommute full time, which makes that possible. I spent a lot of time in school, remaining a grad student all the way through the mid-1990s. Interestingly, I never studied computer science, but do have background in a couple disciplines with a similar thinking style. Who knows how long I'll be able to work a high-pressure corporate job; my guess is until I'm about 50.
Personally, I'm married to a woman, Cari, who was born and raised in Orange County. We have no children. I spend my free time following sports, talking with friends, and working out in the gym. For the heck of it and as a possible post-corporate career, I obtained recently a CA real estate license. Why not? :)

ay, I wish I could have done better academically at BV: Yes, at least arguably I more than made up for it with my almost endless college career (too long in retrospect), but 11'th and 12'th grade is a key time for a person's development and I encountered, at the time, limitations on my ability to stay properly focused on difficult courses like Math Analysis, Chemistry for Science Majors, and the like. Hey, high school years are tough for a lot of people and thus I'm far from alone (no real regrets).
Let me know how you're doing should you remember me and have the inclination to write. I remain nostalgic for the early 1980s and, needless to write, encountering people in their early 40s who I knew during high school would be fascinating.
