ith kids. I founded a non-profit corporation to create an after-school program for disadvantaged kids. I later wrote a book about the experience, but haven't sent it to any publishers. It's still a work in progress. Currently, I tutor a few kids on my own. I used to love to run marathons until, after 19 of them plus a 50-miler, a knee problem ended my career. Temporarily. In 2009, a sports chiropractor treated me so I could run without pain again. I am a huge fan of Pittsburgh sports -- Steelers, Pirates, Penguins -- even though I moved from western PA back in 1979.".
