Dan Parks:  

1968...Graduated with honors (from my parents, I was the first family member to graduate from high school). 1969...Enrolled at LBCC and slooowly lost interest in school until my draft number got red hot and I joined the Air Force. Went to Japan and ended up in New York. 1973...Married, got out of the military and headed back to southern cal. Had two children, still married. 1978...Still married, no job, no house, moved to Arizona. 1979...bought our first home, working, still have two children and still married. 1985...Economy good, I'm a general contractor with work. Kids in school, and still married. 1989...Economy slowing, father dies, sold our first home and built our first dream home. Teenagers in the house, and still married. 1995...Economy is good, teenage drivers, daughter ready for college, son racing in world downhill mountain bike series and championship, still married. 2001...A good financial year.
