Dan's Story
After High School, I served a mission for the LDS church in the Netherlands for 2 years; returned home; went to Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho) where I met my wife, Jana (a Wyoming girl), and we moved to Oregon. We went to college while working on a family - I got a B.A. in English from the University of Wyoming in '02 and by the time I graduated with my Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming College of Law in '05, we had three kids. (Jana received 2 bachelor's degrees - one in History and one in Political Science.)
Jana and I now have four kids- 3 boys and 1 girl (and that's all we're having). I'm a prosecutor in northeast Wyoming.
When I want to relax, I like to chop wood (when I can), spend time with the family, and play video games.
They didn't really have a category that fit my musical tastes, so I'll lay 'em out here ('cause I know you're just dying to know): My favorite music hails from the 40's, 50's, and some 60's from the great crooners like Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Louis Prima, Louis Armstrong, mixed with some of the newer crooners like Michael Buble and Harry Connick, Jr. I still love ...Expand for more
Depeche Mode, U2, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, and other contemporaries of the genre. I enjoy classical when the mood strikes me, as well as the occasional opera (best consumed in smaller portions).
Places I've lived - Pocatello, Idaho; Springfield, Oregon; all over the Netherlands ("Holland"); Rexburg, Idaho; Laramie, Wyoming; due to the fact that I now prosecute criminals who may not be big Dan fans, I will not divulge my current hometown other than to say I live in a great little town in Wyoming.
People I'd really love to hear from: on the very real possibility that I'd forget someone, I'll just say anyone from the old Springfield Wards/Thurston crew, any old NAM buddies, and UW friends.
