Dana's Story
Life
I attended Darien High School in Darien, CT for my sophomore year in 1962 then moved to Palos Verdes, CA. I married Larry Gipson after one year of college and moved to Escondido, CA in 1968. Larry worked for N.C.R. in Rancho Bernardo as a computer technician for 34 years, was employed by Cymer as a laser technician for 10 years and is now officially retired. We have lived in this fine city for 42 years, have two terrific kids, and four wonderful, spoiled grandchildren! children, Trinity (17) and James(8). Our son, Jon (39), his wife Laura(33) and their two kids, Paige (4) and Joshua (2) live in Encinitas. Larry and I watch Paige and Joshua three days a week while Laura works at Tri City Hospital as a registered nurse. Our son is employed by a geologist firm. I have had various jobs throughout the years from making sandwiches in a deli, clerical work in two offices, and teacher's assistant in an R.O.P. classroom. Now I'm concentrating on redecorating our house and spoiling our grandchildren! I'm an expert on the latter!!!
