My Spouse
married Neil Ahrens(from Dewitt- we went to State together) divorced after year and half.he finished his B.F.A.got a masters from Cranbrook(painting)We are still soulmates and love to talk art/life. Met Brad( husband 12 years)working at a frame shop/ gallery in East Lansing.He's a Biologist (has his act together) an Enviormental consultant.

My Pets
I have a zoo.mostly homeless rejects. A Cockateil my husband can't stand and a four foot Iguana named Tennessee(after Tennesse Williams- "Night of the Iguana"All our pets are named after famous artists or writers.
My Kids
son -artistic, flakey, high maintance.
daughter-social loves science(wants to work for National Geographic with marine mammals(biologist)low maintance.genetic replicas of their parents.
My Job
Teach at the art council.childrens and adult classes.re...Expand for more
cently wrote a grant and put together an after school arts enrichment program.also coordinate an arts appreciation program in the elementary schools and local nursing homes.am visable(because of the art) in my small community and do a lot of arts volunteer work.

2008 news-have M.S., having brain surgery,soon,(right brain too big),seriously,cerabellar ectopia,had 3 spine surgeries-getting old sucks! son 19, going to U.M.what happened to our spartan legacy?gets worse-daughter 16 going to U.M. too.Still married to Brad 20 years still happy! and still painting new spine surgery,3/09neck full of hardware.GETTING OLD SUCKS!!! especially when you have have kids in college smarter and more talented then you and your legacy is the 80's.
