Dana's Story
Life
After high school I attended Hawkeye Tech and graduated with an Associates degree in marketing in June 1978. Got married a week later, and moved to Alaska the week after that. Putting my marketing degree to work, I took a job with a small independent paper distributor in Anchorage. I'm still there, and the company is not so small anymore. I am the printing paper specialist, and sell to commercial printing plants. It is a lot more fun than it sounds!
My wife Debbie and I started our family in 1980 with daughter #1 Jenica. Ryan came along in 1981 and Danae in 1983. Danae has joined me in the paper business recently. Unfortunatley, Debbie and I split in 2000 after 22 years.

great time. We enjoy being empty nesters. In fact we just built a new empty nest last year and are both having fun working on this house.
When not working on the house, we like to fish for halibut and salmon, hunt moose, golf, and go to our time share in Mexico. Oh yeah, I have a '72 Chevelle that I'm working on also.
My mother lives in Hampton and we visit annually. We lost Dad in 2004, and sister Dixie in 1998. My oldest sister Lynda, (class of '64) lives in St.Paul and works as a nurse. Myrna, (class of '68?)
lives near Grimes and just retired from teaching. Mary (class of '72?) lives in Amery Wisconsin, but works in St.Paul as a nurse.
I think of my old school mates quite often and am looking forward to reading some of your bios.
