Dana's Story
I graduated in 1969 from Rutgers (New Brunswick) with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Got married to Dotty Albano, worked for a year and just as we had our first son, entered the Army. Spent a year in Ft. Hood (Texas) then off to Vietnam with the 101st Airborne.
Returned in 1972, relocated to Philadelphia area and resumed work with Worthington Pump for another 14 years. During that time I earned my MBA (management) from Temple (Philadelphia) and Dotty and I had three more children. Unfortunately we ended up splitting in 1994 although...Expand for more
remain friends. In 1986 I left the industrial equipment business and entered the fledgling environmental services business where I am still employed (2014).
I will retire in March 2015 from Severn Trent Services as the COO of their Contract Operations business. I have 7 (soon to be 8) grandchildren all living within 25 miles of Easton where I currently reside. My retirement plans include spending time at our family farm in Maine and tinkering with my cars/tracks that have become my passion (not interested in golf) after my family.
