Dana's Story
After high school I attended Northeast Missouri State University (aka Truman State University) and got my Bachelor of Science in Ed degree with a Biology emphasis. Believe it or not, I did some time with cheerleading and band there too. After that, I have been employed in education positions for the last 24 years as a high school science teacher (Missouri), college student affairs and academic affairs professional (Nebraska and now in Colorado), and high school guidance counselor (Colorado). Somewhere in that mix I spent time in Mississippi doing my Masters in Ed graduate work in Guidance Counseling. le - I wanted to make sure I had a date for the 20th reunion - just kidding!). Since we don't have children (just furry four legged ones), our life is pretty quiet and simple. We enjoy live music and also watch sports like the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche and have season tix to the Denver Broncos games. Ken has a '54 Chevy so we try to hit car shows a few times during the summer. Over the last five years we have taken trips with friends to Mexico for some R & R and some action like jet skis and zip lines. Most years I get to the Quad Cities over Christmas and a week in the summer. I am on Facebook and check that fairly regularly so drop me a line there. Take care!
