Dana's Story
Life
Hi everyone,
I still live in Reno, NV with my husband of 19 years, Joe, and our three kids Justin (born 1995), Jordan (born 1997) and Jana (born 2000). Joe has a daughter, Jill (1977) who is a teacher here in Reno as well. After high school I attended OIT and earned an Associates Degree in Accounting and then moved to Reno for a job with the chain of newspapers that owned the Herald and News in KFalls. I worked there for 11 years and went back to school at the University of NV, Reno and completed my Bachelor's Degree also in Accounting. I worked for 3 years for Deloitte & Touche CPA firm and then accepted a job at International Game Technology where I've worked for almost 12 ...Expand for more

Our family loves the Reno/Tahoe area. We take advantage of the outdoor activities like biking, hiking and the Tahoe beaches as much as possible. But our 3 children keep us pretty busy with baseball, music and horseback riding lessons. My husband is very active with the kids' sports activities and started a youth basketball league for 250 children in our area. It's been a great developmental program and the proceeds are donated to the high school where our children will attend.
So, we're living a life probably similar to many of the Henley High graduates. I hope you have had many fulfilling experiences to far out way the inevitable challenges that life dishes up!
