Danette's Story
Well, what to say here!
I have traveled the country quite a bit since high school and ended up back on the West coast about 5 1/2 years ago and became engaged to Terry Fletcher. But due to circumstances beyond my control we are no longer engaged but I still love him to death (always have!) and we remain good friends.
I am currently living in Vancouver, Washington. I graduated from Clark College and received my A.A.S. in Medical Assistant with a minor in Business Technology and was working for Clark College Health Services Department. At the same time I worked toward getting my Medical Transcriptionist degree where I worked a brief stint at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland. While attending college I also worked at the Washington State Attorney Generals' Office in the Consumer Protection division. What an interestingly fun job that was! I was also inducted into Phi Theta Kappa my first year in college which is an international honors society, which was one of the prouder moments in my life.
I left Reedsport right before my junior year and moved to Michigan for 1 year. After that, I moved back here to Independence, Or for my senior year. But, I have always considered RUHS my school as I have the best memories there along with the best friends I have ever had.

Two weeks after graduating I went to Virginia to visit my dad and the visit turned out to be a little more permanent than I had planned. I was there for 16 years before finally returning to the West coast and here we are.
I have 2 children, an 18-year-old girl named Cassandra who graduated high school last year, and a 12-year-old boy named Nicholas who is currently in 7th grade. I also have a dog (1/2 German Shepard & 1/2 Malamute) named Rudy, and a rescue cat named Fiona-who really should been named "Princess" Fiona!
What am I doing now? N-O-T-H-I-N-G!!! I have officially been declared a "handicap" person only 1 month before my big 4-0!? I have such severe and debilitating problems with my back that I am no longer able to work. It's strange to think about but guess what dear class of 1986? WE ARE OFFICIALLY GETTING OLD! How did that happen? More importantly...When did that happen? Crazy!
I hope everyone is doing well and you have achieved everything you had set out to do. If anyone wants to contact me and let me know how you've been doing and what you've been up to give me a yell. I would love to hear from you!
