Dan's Story

Life Retired from L.A. County Sheriff's Department in 1987, with 26 yrs of service. Most of my career centered around patrol assignments, plus served as a news media press information officer, Sheriff's Academy lecturer, E.L.A. Station's first Community Relations Deputy, high school teacher for Sheriff's Department's "Student and the Law" course for 4 years and 2 years as an R.O.P. teacher for school teachers & administrators. Served 15 years as a Patrol Supervisor. Served in the USMC Reserve from 1960 through 1971, attained rank of E5 Sergeant in 4th Marine Division, 14th Counterintelligence Team. Being married to my wife Sue Ellen for past 44 yrs is my greatest accomplishment. We have four children and 10 grandchildren, My life centers around serving God and my church, husband, father and grandfather, mentor to ministry of Christian photographers and my photography business Would like to reconnect with Stevenson Jr. High, James A Garfield High School friends and students from my teaching time at Gahr High School, Cerritos, CA. to share what we have experienced during our lifetime.
