Daniel's Story
The little I remember of life at Monroe: My friends and I, in coveralls & masquerading as furniture movers , removing tables and chairs from the library and setting them out on the lawn; as sports editor of the Monroe Doctrine, gaining access to the press box at Dodger Stadium for the 1965 L.A. Angels' season and running up a food and drink bill which was sent to our principal's office (nice move).

luded a stint with the Army in Vietnam, somehow obtaining a B.A., M.A. and J.D., working as a State Park Ranger, environmental administrator, counsel and managing attorney for the State and pro-tem judge for Sacramento County. Happily married for 42 years, 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Currently wiring children's books about our intrepid Australian Shepherd. Have lasting and fond memories of Monroe Mental Asylum.
