Daniel's Story
To the High School Guidance Counselor who said to me when I was 17: "In my opinion, you are not college material. Perhaps, you should consider becoming a porter and handyman like the Puerto Rican janitor in my building who has the same last name as you," Daniel's schools include Abraham Lincoln High School Daniel later graduated from SUNY Empire State College with a B.S. in Business Administration and Economics. Daniel also earned M.S. in Telecommunications from Polytechnic University and a Master's Certificate in Project management from George Washington University. Update:
I am a widower now. My wife of nearly 54 years passed away on 1/22/22 of Alzheimer's. We fought against the disease for more than 13 years. In the end, it won. We even moved to a small village in northern Spain, but nothing helped and we came back. I try very hard to stay healthy because I believe the best way to honor my wife is by continuing to live. To all out there that are fortunate and blessed enough to still have their spouses, I say cherish and love them and seek joy together. For, no matter how often they may get on your last nerve, you have absolutely no idea what loneliness is until you are without them.
