Life Well, after graduating from Maury, I attended the Philadelphia College of Arts for a couple of years before getting married. Later, I entered the Marines. Now that was a blast! There were some great times, but I also found out a few things about my marriage that were not good [but we wont go there]. In 1984 my greatest contribution to this world arrived, my daughter Sophia! She is also one of my closest and best friends. After leaving the military in ‘89, I began freelancing as a graphic designer and fashion photographer. For the next few years I held jobs in the hotel industry, television, and sports and of course graphics, but I knew Norfolk had little to offer in the fields I loved so I had to hit the road. For most of my daughters life, I have been a single parent. I don’t regret it at all though. My daughter and I are much happier and have more peace in our lives now.
