Daniel's Story
Hey Ya' all, well, as most of you knew I didn't like school much except for the social aspect of it. Once I started working and making money I knew college was not for me. Married my High School sweetheart Lisa Petersen in '85, had 3 kids by the time we were 25, Chelsea, Chandra, and Devin. Drilled water wells in the High Desert for 9 years. Tough work but it keeps you in shape. A good friend of mine, Dan Cameron got me a job in the phone company, Nortel, and spent the next 15 years working in Pac Bell, Verizon, and Sprint offices. Good job. Never work weekends. We thought we may have messed up having kids first instead of college, but now we are 44, our kids are 24, 21, and 20, and we are done! s..wow! We race the dirt track in Victorville, my son Devin drives my racecar now, he's an EMT. Lisa has a successful business selling Cockapoos, my daughters are doing great, no grandkids yet. We go to the river and restore old cars for fun. We have a beautiful home in Baldy Mesa on 5 acres, lots of horses, lots of dogs. We have had our share of down times, but all is well now. Hope all is well with everyone we went to school with. I finished school in Victorville, but most of my friends were at Serrano High. I can still remember doing burnouts up the hill from autoshop. All of my kids graduated from Serrano, and the teachers treated them pretty good despite being related to me. I can usually be found at Farmer Boys on Thursday night in Victorville cruising my Oldsmobile. Peace.
