My Spouse
She hates this story............
October, 1989
I was the Committee chairman of the Social Services Committee of the CYAC (Catholic Young Adults Club) in the Arlington Diocese, Virginia. We would meet as a pack at the Pentagon South Parking Lot and then bunch into one vehicle for the ride into the District to serve lunch to the homeless at a Protestant Church. She appeared out of the subway station and I just hugged her and gave her a big kiss. (she claims that I probably did that to all the new girls...not true (although it is what I WANTED to do to each of the new ones-- but she is the only one I got the gumption to do it to. [luckily, she didn't file assault or sexual battery against me.]) We have now been married for 16 years as of 9/21/07 and one child.
My Kid
Alex is SOON TO BE 18 and much taller than I am (down to 5'7" he still growing at 5"10"+)
No longer able to wear my clothes as he has longer legs and less stomach!
(I had lost 50+ lbs but putting back 10 or so -180 lb)
He is still autistic (always will be)

getting better at math/reading
Went to "Swimming with the Dolphins" (March, 2006) in Key Largo, FL and he/we had a blast.
My Job

computer systems design and management
8-430 and throw in an extra 1/2 hour each way for travel through Washington/Rockville, MD rush-hour traffic (I'm lucky, I live close to where I work!)
Life CONTINUES TO BE very very good to me.
After spending the summer of 07 in Dakota - am happy
to report that now am convincing wife promisingly to
move to Huron in 2013. {due to available "Special
Needs" services/low cost/low crime/central location}
**update to possible move in 2013; extremely unlikely...will be elligible to retire but not very realistic (more like 2023).
Was home to bury my mother in Jan 2010 and LOVED the -9 temperatures---sure got homesick.
I always wanted to be a accountant when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a reasonable idea. As it turns out, they were right and I am who I intended to be..
My current age is 55. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old, tired and ready for retirement. I was so completely correct!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Well, yes as a matter of fact I do
For 100 pints donation at the NIH Blood Bank. (after having given 40 pints to the Red Cross system prior to my arrival at NIH in 1988).
