Publishing.
My life changed dramatically when I met Jonnette Huntley, whom I affectionately call, "Sam" in 1997. That year we trained for the Chicago marathon together, and I finished it in about 4 1/2 hours. I proposed in 1998 and we were married in 1999. In 2000, we bought a house in Streamwood, and Riverside Publishing convinced me to leave teaching to come work for them. In 2003, we had our son, Rudy. Rudy was premature by about 11 weeks, and he weighed just over two pounds. As of this writing, Rudy is 13 months and doing great.
