Daniel's Story
Hi Steve,
It was very nice hearing from you. I certainly remember you, your name, face, and way of talking. We did not know each other well-I don't believe. Sort of hung out with people, who hung out with people who hung out with each other. If that makes any sense.
I'm doing quite well, at this time. I've had my ups and downs over the past 40 years. I had a most crappy marriage of 24 years. We are ever closer to divorce. We had three children-who are pretty wonderful but also very angry with me. So I am waiting for them to come around to time when they might gain a more complete understanding of family life. I figure there is plenty of blame to pin on self, wife and others. Oh well. It is a long story and not worth telling here.
I still live in Rochester. Love it, and thrive here. It's my home and cherish the community of frie...Expand for more

Career wise I have had a marvelous time. I make a decent living as a psychotherapist (MSW). Helped build business that exists around this work. Earlier on, in my 20's, I worked in NYC as an actor. I had a blast-learned a lot- was enriched for life by that experience.
I loved the neighborhood that I grew up in. In comparison with many other people I have met, those of us who had a kind of contact with kids that went from nursery school straight through to 12th grade, were very fortunate. We had a stability and continuity of community that many people lack. We probably did not know it while growing up, but we were very blessed by that sense of connection. The southeast side of Rochester is still a good place to live (for me).
