Daniel's Story
Life
Well, I have 2 kids now. My daughter is 5 and my son 3. I am a single parent and I work full time as a DoD contractor. I live in St. Louis now, but I still say F$#K the Blues.
School
If I was to do it all over.......I wouldnt. I wouldnt be where I am now if it wasnt for that guy I used to be. But I am glad that, that was then and this is now.
College
College?????????? I did 3 classes through an online thing, but I couldnt take it anymore. Eventually Ill get around to it. How many time have we all told ourselves that?
Workplace
Well, I got out of the Army after almost 8 years in and got a job working for the Defense Informations Systems Agency as a Network Design Engineer. So basically I sit in front of a computer waiting for my phone to ring 8 hours a day. Not what I saw myself doing, but Im not complaining. Especially with the...Expand for more

Military
Well, I left for Army basic training 2 weeks after graduation. From there, I got stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas. 2 years later, I got stationed in Korea. Korea was cool cause it was a 24/7 party. The only thing I hate about Korea, is I think twice now when it comes to eating rice. If you saw what I saw, you probably would too. After Korea, I got out of the Army and did 6 months in the Michigan National Guard down in Monroe. I couldnt find a real job, so I rejoined the real Army and went back to Ft. Hood. It was there that I got sent to Iraq once all that started. I was in Samarra most the time I was there, dodging bullets, RPG's, rockets, and alot of mortars. A roadside bomb blew up behind me once, that wasnt fun. But im still here with no holes. I got out in January '05 and now I live in St. Louis working for the government.
