Daniel's Story
Life
After graduation I joined the US Navy and spent the next 21 years chasing Soviet Submarines around the world from a variety of Navy aircraft including helicopters, carrier based fixed wing and long range patrol. In 1962 I married Linda Bilyeu from Eugene. Linda passed away from kidney disease in 1970. In 1976 I was commissioned as a Chief Warrant Officer and finally retired in 1980.

the Navy I went to work for Sperry Univac in Minneapolis, but left there after two years to take a job with Lockheed in Sunnyvale California. I worked for Lockheed until 2003 and then retired.
We recently moved into a new home we had built in Gardnerville Nevada, about 15 miles South of Carson City, and just down the mountain from Lake Tahoe. We have two children, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
