Daniel's Story
I spent time finding trouble after high school, then the military for four years, then college. I worked as a software engineer for some time. I started graduate school in 2003. I am half way through that process now -- a few more years away from my PhD. I am currently starting a freelance software engineer / developer business specializing in both computational linguistics (i.e. text generation, parsing and understanding), and user interface development.

tistic spectrum. He is the most intelligent person I know and the singular focus of my life -- everything else falls behind the needs of my son, which can be great at times.
My hobbies include sports cars (I mod my own WRX), photography, and reading/writing fiction. I mostly read sci fi (hard sci fi) but am finding myself interested in writing some steampunk shorts. I also write poetry in the Tanka form (older Japanese poetic form): tankatown at blogspot.
