I moved from Grants Pass to Palm Springs, Californis in 1958. Spent most of my working years in the Pest Controll industry, both residential & agrricultural. Married while living there. My first wife presented me with two beautiful baby boys who will be 45 this May. Devorced after about 15 years. My wife thought I drand too much. I didn't think I drand too much! Just what I needed to feel normal. (I quit drinking a little over 33 years ago.) After almost another 15 years I married again, to a wonderful woman 18-years younger than I am. We have two beautiful & intelligent daughters. They take after their mother. The older is turning 24 on February 21. She was 3 when we married, step-daughter but has never known another daddy but me. She graduated from Mount Holy Oak Collage in 3&1/2 years with a degree in Chemistry, worked for an evvioronmental consulting firm until recently laid off, and now working at a (sometimes two) coffee shops, and sometimes tutering HS students in Chemistry. She's a worker! And always has been. She's waiting to hear back from graduate schools she has applied to, one of which is a program at Oregon State. Our younger daughter turns 20 next month. She is in her 2nd year at Scripts College, majoring in Biochemistry. She also plans to go on with her studies, maybe me...Expand for more
