Daniel's Story
For whatever it's worth...Most of everyone I knew in high school would only remember me as Dave's brother. Either that or that I was pretty much of a "loner" or just under my brother's shadow. But, instead I "ran away" from home after a year at Contra Costa Jr College and joined the US Air Force. After that 26 some odd years with the DoD, (that's Dept of Defense).
Did a trip to England, met my future wife, went back abruptly, got married in 2000, came back over after a year of living in England. And now live in Tucson, Arizona since 2002. I didn't move back to the bay area because it is too darn expensive.
Did a very "early retirement". Doing odd jobs around Tucson....Expand for more
But mainly acting as house husband because my wife, Deborah, is disabled. When the crappy economy gets better, outside employment will pick up, (I hope). Long story on that.
I noticed my brother is on this site. I don't talk to my brother because I just don't talk to him. A good way of putting it is that there is a "family feud" going on between us. I only got to this site because curiosity got the better of me. Obviously, I am not under his shadow anymore.
Other than that, I live a quiet life with my wife, Deborah, and our cats in Tucson, AZ. Eventually, if things go right, we plan on moving back to England, (but that won't be for another 10 years or so).
