Anthony's Story
Life
I started out going to the Naval Academy while my classmates atended Woodstock in '69, my artful sense took over at Navy and lead me to transfer to Pratt Institute, and graduated with a degreee in Architectural Engineering, graduated, lived and worked inn Manhattan designing the Citicorp Center and the Cooper Hewitt National Museum of Design, went back to school at City College school of Architecture and design, obtained my license in Architecture, opened office in NYC, for 15 years, after many published projects, furniture awards, and married twice, second marriage, had two great children, went back to LI to live in Manhasset for 10 years, then three years ago moved to Boca, now divorced, still in Boca, close to children one 17 year daughther, and a 13 year old son. Still designing, but now speciality is hotels and resorts, and working in NY twice a month redesigning the Nevele and Fallsview hotels. It's been a ride,and believe me it's not over. ht get back in touch, seems like alot of you are in South Florida, what a coincidence.... so now it's 2005, I'm back in New York, with a new spouse, great woman, my own age, living on the east side of Manhattan, traveling to my weekend house in Upstate New York, still working on exciting hotel and resort projects...go down to South FL to see my son and daughter now in Loyola in Baltimore...that enought for now...
Well, Daughter, Cara, living in NYC two blocks from me, works for Starwood W Hotels, son Marc finishing his second year at Fairfield U, and my wife Dani, who owns Partsmodels and I work from NYC and from our 1740 Stone House in Stone Ridge in Upstate New York, loving spas, gardening, and searching for great furniture, antiques and art...
In this recession, in which we had two other homes we bought to renovate and sell, all historic properties, we decided to rent one and offer the other for weekend, week and monthly vacation rentals, and have been renting it..see our webs site, perhaps you'd like to rent it for a romantic getaway...saugerties.webs.com
