Danielle's Story
Life
Alright well i have been married a little over a year and a half. My husband is a Air Traffic Controller for the USAF, and i will be recieving a commision through the ROTC program and will be an officer for USAF. I have a Great Dane named Brutus who is 4 and a Saint Bernard named Sadie whose 14 months old and 145lb.'s already-she is huge! I will be graduating with a major in Special Education for Deaf ed, but will serve the Air Force hopefully as a officer a couple more years in Airspace Aviation. I love knowing i am defending a country and was involved in Iraqi Freedom. Nothing beats the feeling of patriotism, but having the thought your spouse at any time could be leaving for months or even a year is a bit much at times. I was so excited about buying our first house, esspecially that i was so young at the age of 20. Our house wans't finished being built so we got to pick the out the carpet which i thought was the coolest thing. Writing that i feel so old, anyways we are almost done painting and making the house feel like it is a representation of us. It has been a year now and we still aren't done yet. I feel like i have accomplished alot-alot more then my peer...Expand for more
s. I have a career, i go to school, have my own house and i have done everything on my own. The proudest moment in my life will be graduating from college knowing i put my self through school and managed to grow up faster then imaginable. Boot camp sucked but in the end i got through it and came out with plenty of stories to tell. Like for starters-the TI's called me barbie, so much for blending in. For the fact i was the first one to do push up's for smiling. I remember the first night i cried so much all i could think of was man i am in hell. But i wasn't and it was a growing experience i would do over in a second. Besides i looked really hot after boot camp. If anyone wants to lose weight join the military and go to boot camp. You'll never run so much in your life. Anyways life is awesome with some stress here and there but hey thats life right? I just became a god mother and will soon be an aunt. i have the greatest friends imaginable and would not change a thing. High School sucked but i guess it only made me stronger-And no i did not marry Brian lenox we broke up right before i left for USAF boot camp but we are still the best of friends. God Bless-Danielle
