Danielle's Story
Hey everyone its me Danielle, the one and only. lol No for real I am back here in Everett working on writing a book. I write Poetry, and pretty much anything under the bridge.
When I left Cascade many years ago, I went to Arizona to further my education on Nursing (Hospice) and went to college in Glendale to get my GED. After that I came back home to Everett and became a Hospice Nurses Assistant. I have done that now for over 12 years and have loved every moment of it. In 2003 I moved down to Waldport Oregon to live on the coast with my grandmother, lived by the beach for 5 years. I missed all my friends up home so I decided to make the change again and come home and start all over again, but this time I would start writing books and not working as a Nurses Assistant.
When I was going to Cascade they were the funniest times for me, I think back to them and laugh. I had so many different types of friends, but they all rallied around me when I had to have my open heart surgery when I was a Sophmore. all can connect as one when times call for it. Just like growing up, I am sure we all could be best of friends now and not even think of the past and how it all was. Its amazing to me! I had hard times going to Cascade cause I was really sick around those times with my heart, but I never let it get me down. I had many friends and I still did the same things as many of the others did. I even got dressed up as the Bruin Bear a few times and danced at a few games and had the best times of my life doing that. I well never forget all the guys walking by me and grabbing the tail on the bear suit and wacking my butt, TIM!. They were sure good times. And to all you Seniors when I was a Freshman I sure am thankful for you to this day for giving me support when I came in to the school late in the year due to my illness and all that rallied around me. As of late I am doing good, but I have had to move back up to Everett as I am ill again. But I am still strong, and taking each day as it comes and hoping to meet some of my friends from the past on here. Please feel free to email me anytime and I will write you back. Peace and Love, Danielle Barrus
