More about Danielle:""Love is the answer, but you have to have knowledge to know what Love really is" - Laura Knight-Jadczyk "The ultimate tyranny in a society is not control by martial law. It is control by the psychological manipulation of consciousness, through which reality is defined so that those who exist within it do not even realize that they are in prison. They do not even realize that there is something outside of where they exist." -- Barbara Marciniak, Content of Bringers of the Dawn, pg. 87, Chapter Eight. I have an eclectic personality, and deep down I seek the thread of continuity within seemingly disparate areas of interest. It is hard for me to choose single favorite things because I want nothing more than to get to the crux of everything, and as a result, sometimes I light upon ideas only long enough to be drawn to another. It is exasperating, but I hope that someday sooner than later I will find some thing, some element that will be a r...Expand for more
eflection of my true Self. Whatever that means, I try to enjoy myself while I do it. I guess that means I look for myself in all things which can either seem narcissistic or reasonable. I like to think that I'm the latter. I believe that everyone can find themselves in all things significant to them, that everything that seems relevant is. I've always been interested in the strange, but for a great portion of my life, I related only to the Masculine/empirical/logical perspective of reality. I think it is a shame that for so long I neglected to regard the Feminine/immaterial/intuitive aspects of existence with as much appreciation because I was taught that linear reality was the only reality. I regret this partially because I am a woman, but mostly because I am human, an animated being with emotions and a soul that are as inherent to me as my body and mind. However, I do not regret where I've been because it was the very path that led me to where I am going. I am excited by the fact that I've reconciled these two aspects of myself; and it was my interest in science and psychology that led me on a journey to find my Feminine and back again to a comfortable space in the middle. It inspires me to understand that the mind is not at odds with the heart, that I don't have to choose, that I can simultaneously be a thinker and a feeler and a woman and a rational animal with unapologetic resolve... Oh, and I am a Gemini who loves reading and watching cartoons. I'm at my best when I am outdoors, away from the so-called civilized world. Time slows down, the trees and all of the elements speak and I am more inclined to listen. Also, I have a ferret named Twilight and a veritable cult of family and friends, all of whom I love fiercely.".
