Danilo's Story

After high school, have nowhere to go. Planned to go to college, but because I'm a typical poor boy who can only afford RHS ended up working part time jobs for 2 years. I was so depressed i could not go to college as my classmates did. I became a loner and shied away from being seen by my classmates. (Listening to Nowhere Man by the Beatles brings back memories of wasted years). Next thing I remembered, I enrolled myself in a reputable trade school (now TUP). And that started my career in design and drafting. I spent 13 good years working at MIRDC in Bicutan,Tagig. I did not make any money here, but real good friends, friends until now. Another 17 years was spent working at RAMCAR Technology where I was molded into a better person. Man, i saved more money here as a Senior Design manager and got my family 2 small houses in Pasig and Bulacan. Got myself a nicer car and one for my oldest son also. I was so proud having attained this level. But still, Why was it that all those things seemed not enough? In March 2007, fate moved me and my family (my wife's petition) to where we are now, California USA. I planned to stay behind but I was worried sick that my sons are not ready to work yet, and I don't want to burden my wife to fend for their living. And so I changed my mind realizing how difficult it would be to be separated from them. After 3 months of being here, i got my California driver's license, got a car and applied for a job. But, oh, what a surprise, jobs are not too plentiful in my field at this time. I prayed a l...Expand for more
ot for God to employ me whatever job he chooses for me. Shortly after that, he heard me and got me employed. I like my job, a simple job without headaches, no pressures, and with very kind American boss and coworkers. In August 2007, we moved to our first 2 bedroom apartment with a tennis court, SPA and a pool within the complex. I loved my place which was just beside the creek where i usually stare at the trees and ducks and turkey's as i reminisce things of the past. By then, i was building up a good credit score for a plan to get a mortgage loan. In July 2009, my mortgage loan was approved and we moved to our new home at 1009 Coloma Way, Roseville California 95661. I love the huge front and backyard where i spend my spare time gardening. The backyard has got a large grapefruit tree and an apple tree. I just planted cherries, blueberry, mandarin, orange, lemon, peach, fig, loquat, and lot's of vegetables too. This is like a dream, God gave me all of these in just 2 years or so, even without the benefit of a high paying position. God has given me just enough. And by the way, I am too proud that my youngest son is now a bread winner also, is staying with us and helping with the bills. My second oldest son is in LA working part time to support himself and his studies (he just got his federal study grant), wise boy and very independent. And lastly i will be working on my oldest son's petition (he was left behind because he was over 24 years old)and look forward to get him here. May God Bless Us. Long story, HOPE U LIKE IT.
