Danny Hicks:  

I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior in August 1971 just before my sophomore year at WHHS. During high school I was active in my church outreach ministries to children, Hispanic children and prisoners. I served as the tutoring committee co-chairman and chaplain for the National Honor Society during my senior year at WHHS. I graduated from Winter Haven High School in 1974. I attended Clearwater Christian College and graduated with a B.A. in Biblical Literature in 1978. After college I attended seminary at Baptist Bible Scholl of Theology in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania where I met my wife, Laurie. In the Fall of 1980 I joined the staff at First Baptist Church of Ogden as the Assistant Pastor. I served part time during the school year and full time during the summer.
