Danny's Story

Life Hey all, If you are one of my former students please post some pictures of when you were in school and year you were in my class. For those of you from Donna High it's me. I moved in the summer of '76. I sure wish I could have graduated with you guys. I am married. My wife's name is Genie and we have been married for 25 yrs. We have two children: Kellie (22) and Brian (20). We lived in Portland,TX until this summer- 2007. I accepted a job with the Baptist General Convention of Texas as a consultant. My wife found a teaching job with in the Cy-Fair ISD. she is teaching ESL and not coaching this year. We now live in Cypress, TX (northwest Houston) Before I was a minister I was a school teacher with the Killeen ISD (83-91). I then went to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth (91-93). After seminary we lived in Yuma,Colorado for 3 yrs (94-97). I was the youth,music and spanish minister. in '97. I was called to be the youth and music minister for the Corpus Christi Baptist Church. I stayed there for 18 months and then came on staff at FBC Portland. That was an easy move as we were already living in Portland. Our daughter graduated from Aransas Pass H.S. in May of 2003 and is now a graduate of the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in Belton, TX. She graduated on May 5, 2007. Kellie is now a teacher in Lewisville, TX (north Dallas). She is teaching P.E. Our son graduated from Aransas Pass H.S. in May of 2005. They did make it to the State Tournament in March of 05. He was a freshman at our alma mater: Howard Payne University. Brian lives in Corpus Christi and is a Jr. at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. He wants to be a teacher/coach. College B.S.
