Danny's Story
It is hard to believe that it has been 42+ years since I graduated from good old CHS! I have some great memories from there including singing in the choir, football, doing the Mikado and hanging out with alot of great freinds. Since then, I graduated from UNC with a teaching degree in history, but never used it. I eventually ended up in the insurance business and have been doing that for almost 30 years. I have been married to my wife Kay for 27 years and have 3 grown step-kids and 4 grandkids. I have also sang in the Greeley Chorale for about 12 years and the Congregational Church Choir for about 25 years. (Mr. Nofziger had a huge impact on me!...Expand for more
!!) I was also a member of Rotary for about 25 years. My biggest passion is cycling. I usually average about 3500 miles per year for the past 22 years. I have also done some bike tours which includes Courage Classic, the Mickelson Trail which goes through the Black Hills (112 miles) and most recently the Katy Trail which goes from Clinton, Mo. to St Charles Mo. (225 miles) and much of it follows the Lewis and Clark Trail. This is a great way to keep and old fat guy like me in shape! Kay and I live in Greeley and we will probably die here. Kay is active in Real Estate and really enjoys it even though business has been tough the last few years.
