Danyel's Story

Life After high school I went to IU and after much resistence finally entered into the nursing school. Still a Kentucky Wildcats fan, going to IU has been one of the best things that has happened to me. I met my husband and three of my dearest friends in the whole world there. For those of you who do not know, I married Jeremy Gooch and at times it is hard to believe that life could be any more perfect. We have been truly blessed in our relationship and I don't believe that there is a more perfect man in the world for me. Originally when I started my studies into nursing, my career was the most important thing. I wanted to reach the top. Now my priorities are in order: God, Jeremy, and family. rlds, a wonderful husband and job I love. I work at Methodist in their transplant center as a lung transplant coordinator and it is very exciting. My co-workers are amazing. They are like a second family. Jeremy is doing well too. He finished law school in May and passed the bar exam. Since graduation he has worked at IceMiller downtown in the employee benefits and litigation areas. So far so good. Now I am the nutty one and have returned to school to get my Master's of Nursing Science (MSN). I have just started and wonder why I would want to mess up such a beautiful thing. I know I will be happy in the end. I hope all is well with you and your dreams have come true since high school. I miss seeing some of my friends, fortunately my closest I have been able to maintain contact with. I would love to hear from you and learn what you are doing.
