Daphne's Story
Life
After high school, I attended Alcorn State University where earned my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. I then moved to Ohio, where I lived for a very short period. I quickly moved to Buffalo, New York where I lived for a seven year period, worked for Marine Midland Bank Headquarters. a job with the city, as assistant to Cathy Keeton, who was Human Resource and Community Development Director. After only (6) six months of training Mrs Keeton lefted to run for Mayor of Moss Point. After 2.5 years th e Mayor and Board decided to make me Administrator of the Community Development Department. February 14, 2006 made 6 years on the job. Also on February 14, 2006, my beautiful little girl, who is the joy of my life and my only child , turned 3 years old.
