Hello all!
Life is all about change, isn't it?
I was one of the over 1,200 people laid off from Hynix Semiconductors last year, but it's all good. I'm just starting my 4th term at Pioneer Pacific College getting a degree and certification for Medical Assistant w/Limited X-Ray. This is a totally new field for me and not one I would have ever thought of myself doing, but I'm real excited about the possibilities. Right now I'm looking at maybe taking my externship in Bend in hopes of being offered a job there. I've been in Eugene over 30 years and am ready to get out of here.
My two sons Shaun (25 y/o) and Shane (23 y/o) are doing well and I am very proud of them. Shaun returned to school at the U of O and is working towards his Masters in magazine journalism. Shane just graduated from OSU, got a job as a softwa...Expand for more

Much of the time I am studying, but I try to ride my motorcycle as much as I can and spend time with my sister Diana.

9/29/13-As I said the last time I updated...life is all about CHANGE! I have been at Oregon Medical Group as a Certified Medical Assistant in family practice for 3 1/2 years. Love what I do and the PA I work with ...but alas, she is pregnant and will taking extended time off and returning part time. What do I do???...find a new job! I have been hired at PeaceHealth Sleep Center starting 10/7/2013 and I am so excited! I also will be moving into a great duplex at the end of October very near my kids and 2 grandkids! Ahhh.....life is good and I am SO BLESSED!
