Life After moving out to Eugene from the midwest in 76, I went to Dunn elementary for 6th grade then up to Spencer's Butte jr high, I then graduated from South Eugene in 83. I had planned on going to college and doing something in art or business, but as is common, life intervened and after a small car wreck and tired of going to school for so many years I wanted a break, just to hang out and have fun. Then i met Mike Rickert on the "GUT" the cruise strip on Willamette street in Eugene when I was working at a convenience store at 29th and willamette. He was a bit different then most the boys i knew, he drove a custom low rider pick up he had painted himself, wore only levis and flannel and always a baseball cap. Oh and he chewed, hunted, and came from a really small town in NE Oregon.. he intrigued me. I had just turned 20, we got engaged a month later.
