Life Hello to the class of '82! I am looking forward to the upcoming reunion. It will be a great chance to reconnect with a bunch of people! After high school, I went to the U. of M. and took arts courses for 2 years before entering law school. I graduated in 1987 and was called to the Bar in 1988. In my career, I've practised in various areas of law and in a variety of work settings. I have been in private practice, I have been a government lawyer and did a few year stint as in-house counsel at an insurance company. For the past 11 years, I've worked at the Law Society of Manitoba where I am currently General Counsel. The bulk of my job consists of prosecuting lawyers who are charged with professional misconduct. It's very interesting work and we are helping to protect the public. I "inherited" 2 step-kids (boy and a girl) who are now no longer children. In that time period, I went to more hockey, soccer, and baseball games than I can count and learned a lot!
