I am the same today as I was in 1976 except more seasoned. Displaced by Katrina - now in Youngsville, LA. (Cajun Land). Was in Slidell for 24 yrs and miss it so. Love music and building my music collection the French Quarter and it's mystique/history. Love art, especially VanGogh. Astrology has always been a strong interest, studied some but its complex. I love animals (I'd run a refuge if I could). Have a bearded dragon that I inherited but have grown fond of. Had cats most of my life but not since Katrina. 23 yrs now. It sucks but I want to retire early so I'm staying - can retire in 5 years, finances permitting. Divorced for 15 yrs. Independent & lovin it. I hold the past close to my heart and like an elephant, never forget. Well, maybe sometimes. I am the thinnest I have been in life (at this time) and loving it, but its always a struggle to keep it off. Would love to connect with old friends online to say hi and "remember when???" and am always open to new ones.
