Darlene's Story
After high school I attended ACC for one year. I then transferred to RIT, where I received my BA in Criminal Justice. I then returned home and worked and saved some money before starting grad school at SUNY Albany, where I got my MA in Criminal Justice. I then moved to Boston, and met my husband within a few months. We lived in the city for a few years, but decided that we did not want to raise a family there. In 1999 we moved to Foxboro. We bought our first house in Foxboro in 2002...Expand for more
and got our first dog (a bassett hound, Phoebe) within the first week. Our twin sons, Shane and Benjamin, were born in 9/03 and are now in kindergarten. Our second dog (Satchel, a puggle) arrived in the summer of 2006. My husband Michael is a Cambridge cop and I am a self-employed investigator working part-tim until the kids are older. My Dad is stil in Queensbury and we get back there to visit 4 or 5 times a year. I love my life out here, but sometimes long to be closer to family...
