Darlene's Story
I grew up in Jacksonville on Plum Street, went to Lackawanna Elem, John Gorrie Junior High and Robert E Lee. Moved to Altamonte Springs in the middle of my senior year amd graduated from Lyman in 1960. I met and married my wonderful husband Patin 1961. We have 2 children Danny and Debbie. My husband is retired from home building and I am still working as an Interior Designer-retired from residental and only designing commercial. We lived in Longwood until 1974 then moved to Lakeland to go in the building business with our brother in law. We love it here! My other two...Expand for more
sisters live here too. We are so fortunate! I am a Mother of 2 and grandmother of 4, 2 girls and 2 boys. (They call me Gigi) I volunteer with Lighthouse missions and still help out with the youth at our Church.
Pat and I celebrated our 48th Anniversary December 30th in New York-It's gets better and better! We love to travel and plan to do as much as we can while we are still able. I can't believe I am a senior citizen....I don't feel it! I recently had heart surgery and everything turned out great! Looking forward to our reunion next May. Hopefully I will see you?
