Darlene's Story
Hi all! Hope everyone's lives have turned out great and that you are all happy and well!
I've been living in Fresno, Ca since 1997 and I love it here. I have two very handsome son's, Matt who is now 21 and Johnathan who is 16. Matt is preparing to enter the Airforce in the fall of 2010, and Johnathan is a very talented pitcher for his highschool baseball team. He also plays basketball and waterpolo. At 16 he stands at 6'4 and is still growing. (I can tell by his appetite) They are truly the loves of my life!
My husband Tony and I were very close friends and had known each other since 1987. After 18 years of friendship, and him asking me to marry him several times, and me saying no,(I was stubborn) ...Expand for more
I finally realized in July of 2005, when he came up to visit that he was the man for me. He was super loyal, a blast to be with and I really loved being with him. So I told him how I felt, and he went back to L.A. and packed and immediately moved in with us, and on the day he moved in, he asked me to marry him again and I said yes! We were married in June of 2006. He is a great guy and I'm glad he was persistent.
We love to camp and fish and spend most of the cooler months up in the mountains at various campgrounds and we also love going to the coast.
As far as my career goes, I am currently helping my father manage his business and have been doing this since August of 2008 and I really enjoy it.
