Darlene's Story
My name was Darlene Majors. I went to Tarkington ISD most all my life from first grade in 1963 up to 10 grade in 1977. Then we moved to Cleveland where I then Graduated from Cleveland High School. I went to Tarkington School wearing leg braces and using under arm crutches. I lived out on 1008 Kenifick Hwy, then down Davis Hill Road in Sam Houston Lake Estates on the Trinity River. I have a step grandson who graduated from Dayton High 2008 and went straight in to the Marines out of school in August 2008 JUne 30 he will be 19 years old, he's been a part of my world since he was 8. My newest grandson's August 2007 and March 2009. My son,s are Timothy and James Hibbard. My grandson's are Christopher Partridge and Kenneth and James Jr. Hibbard. My brother's Charles and Lonnie Majors also went to Tarkington ISD. From the years of 1954 to 1976.
