Darlene's Story
The picture above was taken about 8yrs ago at a friends house, didn't seem to have a recent one of the whole family.
O.K now where do I being, moved to Colorado in 1975 with my then husband, had our son,(Eric) who is now 29. Divorced in 1982.
Meet my husband Randy in 1983 married in 1988,had our daughter(Allyce) in 1989 and she is now 19.
Worked for a grocery store chain from 1975 till 1985. Then worked for MacNicholes Arena ( for the Nuggets)from 1986 till 1989. (very interesting)
After having Allyce decided to stay home and be with the kids full time.
Moved from the city to the mountains (which was one of the best moves we could have made)
Since I had went to RRC for my associate degree,I decided to do daycare in our home. Helped raised several kids of the small town we live in,(who still come around from time to time). The last one I took care of became such a part of our lives she has her own roon at our house and comes a couple times a month to stay over(she says just to get away from mom cause she bugs her tooo much.) She just ...Expand for more
turned 8.Don't have any grandchildren yet, so this is the one that gets spoiled.
We adopt "Pit Bulls" don't get too worked up now, they are some of the most loving dogs we have ever had I did take some training to learn the breed we have had up to 4 in the house at one time and NEVER a single problem.
And yes, we had them here while I still did daycare and all the parents could not believe how great the dogs are.( It's the owners not the dog!)
We have 2 horses one is our daughters and they rodeo most of the summer months. The other is my husbands and he is an endurance racer, he's getting older now he is 20 so we have to hold him back. He (the horse) also does rodeo for some of the other kids that don't have a horse but want to be in the rodeo. He doesn't like it, but plays the game.
After home schooling our daughter all thru school(pre-school -12th grade)I went to work full time. I now work with seniors and I could not have a more wonderful and fullfilling job. (It all came full circle)That's all for now I'll add more later ahhh LIFE:)
