Darnell's Story
Well life is fun first of all I am married to a wonderful wife wth a wonderful child who like any other child acts older than she thinks she is! they are my #1 after God of course. :)
I am glad to say I spent 98% of my school life with the class of 89 and a small portion with the class of 88 until I transfered from Douglas elementry in Inkster to Mokersky School on the other side of town. That school is where my favorite principle Mrs. Barbara Gilreath who later became my teacher in 6th grade and now I am married to one of her cousins:). To be honest I am one of those people who does not belive in giving up even when I feel like it!
To my former classmates I hope you have pursued and are living you dream or in some cases dreams.
I currently work for WLPC TV 26 AKA Christian Televison Network where I am the Sr. Engineer/Editor/Website Developer and Director of most of the live programs that you see here in the Detroit Market durng the week only!. I also have my own company G&F Productions, Inc (GandFProductions.Com YouTube.Com/Gandfproductions) . which has been around since 1992, those who know me would say it has been since 1987:)

Again those who remember me know me as the "Video Club" member who recorded everything. The funny thing is I think I may still have a few of the tapes around my home. Also if there are any World Cup Soccer 1994 Detroit Venue Production Assistants around add me!
I am a Spec's Howard School of Broadcast Arts Grad (RTV1-91) who is actually still working hard in this broadcast field as well and movie into the motion picture industry. My wife is also a grad from Spec's RTV --.93 I think:) so the industry is in our family.
I am close to 40 and I have much more to do in order to reach my goals that I have set. I was side tracked years back and now I feel I am slowly getting back on the track.
I am the son of the late Shirley Ann Garrison, Robichaud Class of 1968. She passed on Feb. 24, 2004.
In the pursuit of my dream early on I never gave up on them and yes I was told to get a real job and stop doing that TV thing! I will say I have been having fun with this career path as well as being married to a wonderful women who is also a great writer and a daughter at a young age who is showing signs of being a great creative individual.
BTW This is my story and I am sticking to it!
